Ladies and Gentlemen

liebe Schlaganfallbetroffene, liebe Angehörige, liebe Selbsthilfegruppen, liebe Interessierte,

Together with the Fürst Donnersmarck Foundation and the Center for Stroke Research Berlin, we invite all interested stroke victims from Berlin and Brandenburg and their families to a social gathering in the lecture hall ruins on the Charité Mitte campus from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on this year's World Stroke Day (Tuesday, October 29, 2024).

In this special setting, we would like to provide an overview of current volunteer work and provide impetus for strengthening the self-advocacy of stroke survivors and their families in Berlin and Brandenburg. Our goal is to connect these stakeholders and their diverse offerings with each other and with professional stroke care providers, and to work together on the sustainable development of a new patient organization in Berlin and Brandenburg. On October 29, we would like to take the first step toward this goal through networking and exchange.

For this purpose, we have put together a colorful and informative supporting program together with various organizations:

• Kurze Impulsvorträge
• Discussion groups
• Informationsstände aus dem Bereich der Selbsthilfe und weiteren (Hilfs-)Angeboten
• Performance by the Aphasiker Chor Berlin

Participation is free, but space is limited due to high demand. Therefore, we ask that you register using the following form or by phone (Tel.: 49 30 450 560 605 / Tue-Thu, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.) by October 15, 2024.
